1951

Established Tong Kwang Machinery Factory at Lanzhou Street in Taipei with an area of about 990m2 occupied.

1962

Organized Tong Kwang Valve Industrial Co., Ltd. at Hami Street in Taipei with an area of about 1650m2 occupied plus an additional installation of semiautomatic casting equipment.

1970

Increased the capital to NT$210,000; signed a 5-year technical cooperation agreement with well-known KITZ VALVES factory in Japan, introduced the novel manufacturing technology and management knowledge, expanded a lot of installations of professional processing machine and became the first vale manufacturer to use the valve-use processing machine in Taiwan.

1980

Cooperated with European and American manufacturers of famous brands, CRANE, KENKINS, POWELL, etc., for joint production, introduced novel manufacturing technology and automatic precision machines.

1982

Increased the capital to NT$41,000,000; expanded the precision processing machines, earned a rating of A-Class factory as the first valve maker in Taiwan to receive such rating; honored the qualification mark for many items of product.

1985

Increased the capital to NT$71,000,000; expanded the factory building and administration building; also, purchased extra Italian valve exclusive-use processing machine and auto professional machine, etc.; granted the CGA and CSA certificate for authentication of factory and product; launched a computerized operation company-wide; honored by Ministry of Economic Affairs as an example of factory with computerized operation for small & medium size enterprises.

1986

Cooperated with Japan KURIMOTO as agent for its stainless steel butterfly series product, collaborated with FURUKAWA as agent for its high temperature and high pressure valves made of ductile iron.

1987

Completed the construction of new factory building and administration building, moved the Cast Iron Processing Factory from Hami Street to Dansui Factory as an effort to carry out the consistent strategy for management of business administration.

1990

Increased the capital to NT$185,500,000; launched 『Status Management Proposal for Improvement Activity』with all-out effort, took the advantage of employees’ intelligence company-wide and devoted to achieve the goal of improvement and the R&D tasks.

1992

Approved by Bureau of Commodity Inspection and Quarantine, Ministry of Economic Affairs to be eligible for the registration of ISO-9002; extended and certified for the eligibility registration of ISO-9001(the first valves manufacturer in Taiwan honored).

1999

Qualified for the certification of UL/FM firefighting valves.

2000

Planned to expand production line, established an Oil-free Product Processing Center in a Clean Room to support the demand from domestic semiconductor manufacturers for their plant construction, expand the overseas base of operation and set up Shanghai Representative Office at Financial Center of Lujiazui, Pu Dong New District.

2001

Introduced the ISO-9001 system; the first manufacture in Taiwan obtained the ISO-9001 certificate through the accreditation by Bureau of Commodity Inspection and Quarantine, Ministry of Economic.

2003

Introduced ISO-9001 system to production process in Clean Room (oil-less products), the first manufacturer in Taiwan obtained the ISO-9001 certificate for its Standard Operating Procedures of Clean Room through the accreditation by Bureau of Commodity Inspection and Quarantine, Ministry of Economic.

2004

Joint-ventured with Japan IHARA SCIENCE to establish Ihara Science Co., Ltd. in Taiwan and jointly undertake the sales and marketing promotion in semiconductor industry and LCD manufacturing industry for their variety of high standard EP, AP class valves and pipe fittings.

2006

通過金屬工業研究發展中心產品認證VQ T0600-01-01、VQ T0600-02-001、 VQ T0600-03-01、VQ T0600-04-01、VQ T0600-05-01、VQ T0600-06-01。

2008

成立VOC(逸散性氣體用閥檢測中心)，並通過金屬工業研究發展中心認證，910057 CLASS 900/2inchx1、9805033R CLASS 900/6inchx1、 9776045-1 CLASS 150/8inchx1(CYCLE 2000次 50 PPM)。

2009

再次取得ISO 9001-2008(3M4Y 001-09)認證， API-MONOGRAM APPLICATION NO:600-0079、API-MONOGRAM LICENSE:6D-0602。

2012

榮獲行政院勞委會頒發第10屆金展獎之一等獎。

2013

榮獲行政院勞委會頒發第11屆金展獎之優等獎。

2014

榮獲行政院勞委會頒發第12屆金展獎之優等獎。

2016

榮獲新北市促進身心障礙者績優單位

榮獲勞動部頒發第14屆金展獎之優等獎。
